Our Story
The Fires Are Different. The Mission Remains.
For much of my career, I worked in Life Safety and Asset Protection, helping organizations identify danger, respond effectively, protect people and property, and prevent small problems from becoming devastating losses. In a very real sense, I spent my career helping people put out fires. Today, the fires are different, but the mission remains deeply connected. Through biblical counseling and Christian life coaching, I help people face personal, relational, and spiritual struggles with truth, compassion, steady encouragement, and the hope found in Jesus Christ.
David Hawkins is the founder of New Creation Life Coaching & Biblical Counseling. He was ordained in the Christian Ministry in 2003 and holds a Master of Ministry in Biblical Counseling. His theological education, ministry experience, professional background, and specialized coaching training shape a Christ-centered approach grounded in Scripture, prayer, compassionate care, and practical guidance.
A career in Life Safety and Asset Protection teaches you to listen carefully, identify root causes, develop practical solutions, build trust quickly, and remain steady when the stakes are high. It teaches you that small problems left unaddressed become devastating losses — and that the right response at the right moment can change everything.
Those same principles are at the heart of New Creation Life Coaching & Biblical Counseling. The struggles people bring — anxiety, broken relationships, addiction, grief, spiritual confusion, a loss of purpose — are real fires. They cause real damage. And if left unattended, they will continue to consume everything around them.
New Creation was founded on the conviction that God's Word is sufficient for every struggle the human heart faces, and that the same care, attentiveness, and steady presence that protects people in a physical crisis can also serve them in a spiritual and personal one.
Away from his professional and ministry work, David's life is centered around faith and family. He and Andrea have shared 34 years of marriage and are the proud parents of three sons.

David and his wife, Andrea, have been married for 34 years and are grateful for the life and family they have built together. They are the parents of three sons and have been blessed to welcome their daughters-in-law into the family.
Marriage and family have brought seasons of joy, challenge, change, responsibility, forgiveness, and growth. Those years do not replace biblical training or professional preparation, but they have given David a lived understanding of the patience, commitment, communication, grace, and perseverance that healthy relationships require.
Family remains an important part of David's life and ministry. He believes strong relationships are not built by pretending life is easy, but by learning to face difficulties honestly, extend grace, accept responsibility, forgive, remain committed, and continue growing together under the truth and direction of God's Word.

What We Believe
You Are Not Defined by Your Past
At the core of everything we do is a set of convictions about people, about God, and about what is truly possible through Jesus Christ.
People are not permanently defined by their failures, addictions, wounds, or past. In Christ, there is forgiveness, a new identity, genuine hope, and a new way of life.
The Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God and is fully sufficient to address every issue of the human heart.
The Holy Spirit is the true agent of transformation. Our role is to point people to Him and to the truth of Scripture — not to fix people ourselves.

Why New Creation
A Name That Says Everything

The name New Creation comes from one of the most hope-filled declarations in all of Scripture. It expresses the central message of this ministry: that in Christ, a person is not simply improved or repaired — they are made genuinely new. The old patterns, the old identity, the old shame — they do not have to define what comes next. That is the hope we carry into every conversation, every session, and every prayer.
